Background to Oxen Park

Oxen Park was created in 2006 by Geoff, Ivan and Rick three vastly experienced business and HR leaders who have known each other for nearly 20 years. Our business is named after the small hamlet in the Lake District where we turned an idea into a business plan. Shauna Hughes joined our team as a partner in 2015. Our team is completed by and complimented by Sarah and Dani who help look after our clients and resources.

We have all had varied careers in organisations of different sizes and sectors; we have each been successful and struggled in equal measure but above all we have learned lots including sticking to our values and our principles; it is these that guide us now.

Sarah has always had a fascination with the human mind, what makes people tick and the power of persuasion. This has taken her along a journey that started off with a degree in Psychology which then led to a career in Social Services working with people with physical and mental disabilities.
